Excel Cursor

I find I can't move up and down the spreadsheet I'm working on using the up/down left/right keys, the whole text moves but the highlight stays in the same cell. What have I done and how can I rectify it? The tab's working fine but I need to move up and down too.

It sounds like you have scroll lock on - the rightmost light of three on the top right of the keyboard should be lit. Just press it again to turn scroll lock back off - the button for this is just to the left of Pause/Break.
