I've only just recently read some of the books so I'm looking forward to seeing how they adapt it for the telly.

Might be alright if you could understand what they are saying .I gave up after about half an hour ,just didn't hold my attention .I like Anne Cleeves as a novelist,her Vera Stanhope novels have been well adapted but this is awful.

Thought it was just my hearing, I kept thinking I needed subtitles and although it was easy watching I felt it could have been done in half the time.

Is it a two-part programme? I had hoped it would be a complete story each week. I also had trouble understanding what they were saying.
