What's Your Favourite Book Of 2014 So Far

I recently read Grasshopper Jungle, although its aimed at the youth market I found it most enjoyable.

My favourite book so far though is Gospel of Loki

Thank you Woofgang, I noticed recently that most of my reading for a year or so has been factual or serious so I have been trying to read more light hearted material I will give your recommendation ago

much of TP is funny but his books have a serious message too, especially the more recent ones.

My favourite book of 2014 so far, Children of the Revolution by Peter Robinson. Peter Robinson is a cracking writer.

Most of my reading in 2014 has been anything written by Josephine Cox.
Plus I have her story tapes.

Hi two, has to be 'How Not To Grow Up, A Coming Of Age Memoir Sort Of' by Richard Herring.

Just finished Silencer by the wonderful Andy McNab. He's an ex soldier and ex SAS and his books are all based on true events which make them even more shocking, gripping and quite disturbing. I love them all though. A rollicking read and I recommend it and all his other books.

Maeve Binchy: Maeve's Times...this is a collection of her own articles published in the Irish Times and for any fan of hers this gives a really good insight to her life and thoughts.

The good, the bad and the furry by Tom Cox. Ostensibly, this is about one man's relationship with his cats, but the descriptions of his dad's actions had me laughing out loud

Susan Hill's Black Sheep is excellent. Its quite short and a fast read, so good for in between times.
