Sharing Houses And Spaces Etc - Tv Etc
2 Answers
on TV, particularly soaps, people seem to move into each others houses, become lodgers, house guests etc, with ease and practically at a moments notice.
(i know its just to make the storylines work better!)
there are also many people in and out of the houses all day long
but in real life - does this happen?
do you have an open house full of people coming and going?
or do you rarely have people round?
is it a bit of an 'event' or drama' if someones coming?
do people knock round a lot?
would you hate to think there was someone in your house when you weren't?
i am a pretty private person, i would not really like people in my house if i wasn't there, and i don't have many visitors - (mainly because its untidy)
when it is tidy, i did and do have visitors sometimes, but when its a mess i just don't
when i had flatmates they took the *** a bit - i would come home to find other people in my bed or partying my living room etc - even though they had their own living room, and they would not even be there, theyd have gone to bed!
(i think i am so private as my dad is ridiculously nosy, he used to go through the bins to check what we had thrown own, root through our stuff, check under mattresses etc etc just wants to nose at everything. my folks had shops too so they would sometimes take my stuff and sell it if they didnt think i used it anymore - which infuriated me, because although they probably took stuff i would have given freely they did take stuff i wanted too, and their attitude would be - well, we paid for it really, so we are entitled! ... which just made it worse)
