go and have a chat with the clinique lady its very good really, its expensivish 50 for the first outlay but thats gonna last you a few months.
Cleansers are normally soap-free creams. Using a good cleanser - rinse off well. Don't bother with toners. I have used the most expensive ones and are they are unnecessary. Moisturisers soften and can make your skin look and feel healthy. They can also offer protection against pollution, etc. Clarins range are my favourites. I have tried several brands and always end up using Clarins again. Clarins do give samples to try.
Anne French is a good wipe-off cleanser. Then use any toner (Boots do good less-expensive ones). This removes any excess cleanser and left over dirt. Make sure you use a moisturiser that is for your skin type (oily, dry etc). If you don't know your type, use one for 'normal' skin. If your skin feels greasy after 15mins, you probably have oily skin so get a different moisturiser. Likewise, if after 15mins your skin feels taut, you probably need one for dry skin.
I always use less expensive cleanser and toner (a couple of pounds), then spend more on moisturiser (15-20) as this is the one that is left on your skin.
