or whatever number used to be actually dialled to listen to the charts over the phone,

memories of a bygone age, now there's utube etc and the charts aren't what they used to be.

Am getting older or just boring?

Nostalgia ain't wot it used to be :-)

getting older, it happens to most of us, it's sometime boring, sometime not, sometimes its about saying oh sod it, let's have a drink.

I can remember going up the high street in school lunch hour and sitting in record booths and listening to whole Lp's. When did they disappear? lol!

oh, Cupes, I'd forgotten about them.

We had a great record shop, which when you went downstairs smelt 'funny' :-D
struggling, and struggling, still waiting for pain management people, can you imagine that almost a year on.
cupid i remember that, a row of wooden booths, you asked the assistant for the record you wanted to hear, then got in your booth, and away you go.
