oil cap

I have a renault megan 1.4 privilege + hachback.

the oil filler cap top has come off and left the inners in the opening how can i get it out without drilling ( bits getting in the oil ) etc. it is stuck solid

I'm not sure if this would work try using round nose pliers if you can get the ones that are like molegrips all the better then twist and pull at same time

tried it bob, stuck on tight. it looks as i will have to go to renault ( �60+ ) for them to do it

i've had this problem before not with a filler cap but with wheel nuts and bolts, get a flat ended screwdriver or chisel and a hammer and tap it at an angel to undo it, sonetimes takes a while but better than paying soneone to do it
