What A Difference.

It's exactly one year ago that I went a over t down the back steps damaging my leg for ever....ahhhhh....☺

I slipped on the thick ice on the top step and landed in freezing cold snow looking at a sad and sleeping garden.

This year I am breakfasting on the patio....have cut the grass twice and planted up the new borders.

This is a proper spring......☺

Oh, Shoota...that is a shame....and he seemed so enthusiastic. Any chance of anything in Canada? That's a great country for a young person.

That is still a possibility (or N.Z.) but he has a girlfriend to keep him localish now.....

He has been offered work on three small shoots in Oxfordshire which together would add up to a decent job but none of them come with accommodation.

With accommodation must be attractive in his line.....especially if his work is in a high cost rental area....don't have it so easy really do they?

I wish him luck and hope something turns up for him....x

Thank you G - I know he is disappointed over France but I do follow his reasons and admire him for sticking to his principles.

Suppose I'll end up subbing him through the summer though :-(
