Can anyone tell me the meaning of the "wording" on this line of crockery please ?
It's on the sides of the Teapots, cups, milk jugs and sugar bowls. It looks a bit like Flau...s Der but the first letter may be a fancy capital L and the D of the second word may not be a D 'cos it could be described as a capital C but backwards if you see what I mean.
Any clarification would be gratefully awaited.

Kind regards

Tony Butler

do you have an image or a link to a website with this product on it?
I think Churchill China is the maker and Jeff Banks is the designer but which design is it ?
I've got Churchill, I see no letters, but there are several different designs. Got a pic?
These are just some of the designs... http://www.supaprice....=jeff+banks+churchill

Thank to all for your interest...yes I have a video of the cup and saucer ..it was in the "Cozy Cafe" halfway between Fanabe and Las Americas in Tenerife..all their crockery was this design but neither the proprietor not any of his staff could enlighten us. Now, the hard part - I'm not a computer wizz kid and have no idea how to put the video onto the net in order for folks to see it...bit I'll ask around at my club and perhaps somebody there might help - so watch this space.

Tony, Did you ever find out what the words were? I found the same crockery in a restaurant in Toronto , Canada and no one on the staff could tell me what the wording was.

Best, Ian
