GIF images

Hi there just got a problem when am online...the GIFs images don't show anymore...i have to rightclick then click on Show picture for the image to appear...can anyone help please this is really annoying

It sounds like you have got 'show pictures' turned off. Look in your internet settings. In IE thats TOOLS>INTERNET OPTIONS>ADVANCED - scroll down and make sure SHOW PICTURES is Ticked.

Unfortunately Pinotage the option show pictures is checked...and also its not every pictures thats not shown but only the ones in GIF format...therefore instead of the picture i get the little cross in a box...whereas if the show pictures option is uncheck i get the little triangle, square, and circle in the box. So some picture show. But .gifs do not. Do ANY gifs display? Does this problem occur on every webpage? If so, then I have no idea.
It might be the download of the pix times out becaus ethey are too big, but .gifs tend to be the smaller file size that than the same image saved as a jpg or bmp. What formats do display?

Thats exactly why am confused myself Pino... the JPGs and BMPs does appear only the GIFs...and when i rightclick on them and choose show picture they do appear or if its a link to a larger picture and i click it i do get the larger picture which is in JPEG...really strange and annoying though...thanks Pino
