Can anyone put me out of my misery on this one, I have trawled all my reference books & scoured the net yet all references to this throw up Llwellyn ap Gruffydd, yet the answer only has 4 letters & it looks like it is going to be Rees (I have the R & S). This the last one to finish the xword, please help!!

Thanks dtb, can you explain the apparent anomaly between Llwellyn & Rhys, are they the same person, is it something like Rhys Llwellyn ap Gruffydd or something along those lines?
