There seem to be more and more dogs, and more and more dog poop.
Cow pats are used as fuel around the world.
So, can dog poop be used to make energy?

Here in the U.S., Buffalo patties were a prime source of fuel (dried, of course) for the early pioneers who learned the trade secret from the Native Americans…cow dung works very well… but not dog or any other primarily carnivores (although in the modern world they're more than likely omnivores) which does't make for good fuel qualities. The herbivores have a lot of undigested plant matter, which is what makes their dung good fuel (when dried, of course)..Just don't forget to use dried dung… of course...

Seriously, I don't believe any other matter can beat cow dung. The gas is almost inestimable, especially in the Scottish breeds.

I wouldn't want to try it. Cow dung is mostly grass and cereals, dog poo has meat in it. It would stink.
