Louis Theroux......thankyou, Would You Move To The City Of Angels?

I've always liked watching LT on the TV and found his documentaries fascinating. This article though saddenned me enourmously, why has he moved his family to such a self obsessed Labyrinth of envyologists? I say thanks because in the early nineties I nearly moved there myself with a wife and son. In the end it did not work out, or, from reading this account, perhaps it did. It's like a horror show, I had no idea at the time about healthcare education etc, I'm just so grateful I did not ever move to the richest and most uncivilised nation on earth.

I read his article in the BBC online magazine and regretted it. He makes me want to wash. A dedicated self-publicist who gets as close as he dares to zoo TV and freak shows. Yuk.

He said on the one show that it was only ever a temporary move and he and his family are returning to the uk this year, as planned.
I like him.

I'm a big fan of his and read his explanation of why he's going. Just hope he comes back again.
