Just wondering whether I should see the doctor about this. I've got a number of red circular rashes on my upper arms, maybe 1-2 inches across. They don't hurt or anything, but are rough in texture. Any ideas?

You could try googling ringworm and having a look at the pictures to compare your rash. Have you any pets - particularly a cat?

Psoriasis perhaps? As Robinia said, try googling for a picture.
If it's ringworm, it's contagious, so don't share any towels with people. Just show your doc, they might be able to recommend some cream.
Have you had a sore throat or tonsilitis recently?? If so you may have guttate psoriasis, and its stress induced. I had it for about 18 months! Looked just like you're describing.
I picked up ringworm in hospital! cOOky83, it was just as you've described it and was about the size of an old 10p piece or a 2 shilling piece if you can remember those:--) Google it.
I'd say 100% ringworm, don't worry it's nothing to do with worms it's a fungal infection. I got it when I was a Nanny. It is treatable but it does take a fair while to clear. All the best Shazza x

Thanks for the answers...for the record I don't think it's ringworm. Possibly some sort of eczema, but it don't look serious.
