Have any of you ever won a D.R. crossword? I was lucky enough to win a few weeks ago but gosh are they slow to pay out. I got a letter about 3 weeks after I had won telling me it would take another 4-6 weeks. Is this normal?

Yes this is normal with most magazines and papers. I waited almost 2 months for my £500 cheque (as the prize was then) same with Pick me Up, Full House, That's Life.

Not won anything in the Record / Sunday Mail for just over 3 years (Shame I hear you say) but before that I had a lucky streak and got 3 prizes over about 18 months and that was the situation then. Makes the cheque all the more special when it drops through you door. Enjoy.
