can anyone tell me why landlords can get away without taking the 1p off a pint
introduced by the budget..they didn't comply last year either..my local put 10p on a pint 4 wks ago,but refuses to take the penny off..AGAIN..it's not the money,it's the principal.
Yes, they can charge what they want for beer so it's up to them whether they pass it on.
I am puzzled as to why Osborne has again announced this 1p reduction in this way. I said last year it's better to say he's not putting it up than proudly announcing a 1p reduction- it's bound to attract ridicule and claims he's out of touch if he thinks drinkers will celebrate a penny off
Did you ever believe a publican would discount the beer by a penny. Get real.
In fact, forget the publican, did you ever think that the likes of Punch or the breweries would discount their product by a penny. Nope, no one in their right mind would.
