Can antone please suggest a free download to sort out the registry on my PC please. I did a scan and it indicated over 100 registry errors. Many Thanks.

Did a scan with what?
The only thing an automated registry fixer can do is remove redundant and invalid entries, neither of which is likely to be a cause of any serious problems. It may, however accidentally remove entries that are required, in which case you could end up with real problems.
My advice is leave it alone.

Yep, agree ↑ registry scanners are far more likely to cause problems than solve problems and if they have said they detect problems they pretty much always are not problems at all

Many so called registry scanners and other dubious software always managed to find dozens (or hundreds) of errors, which of course they hope will encourage you to buy their software.

Very few (if any) of them are real errors, in fact I am not sure some of them do any scan at all, they just come up with some sort of mythical number.

If your computer is running ok there is probably nothing wrong with your registry so dont touch it.
