Payroll / Bank Holiday Query
1 Answers
If a Member of staff is on a Minimum Contract of 18.5 hours per week, but their Contract states that Bank Holidays are only paid if worked (which is very rare)... if the member of staff should have been on shift for Easter Monday (but wont be actually working) .. this would take his weekly hours for that week down to 13 paid hours - but his contract states minimum of 18.5 hours per week - is this legal to only pay him 13? Staff are all on new contracts from April....
