Nip Tuck

Any insomniacs out there, Hi there, this is a long shot but maybe somebody knows. The last series on channel 4 of Nip Tuck, Last episode of series, one of the surgeons, lying in a bed, and some crazed person in a hard mask, leans over & starts carving him up, , a tear falls from the surgeons eye, and there is this haunting song playing in the background, does anyone know who sings it & what it was called, it's driving me nuts, it was the very last scene, then the titles rolled........anyone?
