How much do celebs get paid on t.v. and radio shows when it seems to me a lot of them only appear to promote thier newest product. Are they getting paid and getting free advertising

I think it works 2 basic ways. In the first instance yes people go open season when they want to promote so they say 'I have a new book out, come and get me' and they appear for free, then there are others where they ge tpaid to appear and have nothing in particular to see plug. Its actually pretty funny when you watch a lot of day time TV (as I did recently after breaking my collar bone) you see the same person for a whole week on every single show.
