There Was A Brilliant Looking Car Next To Me

In a line of traffic. It looked to me like sort of biggish MG. When it pulled away, ahead of me, I saw it said ' Crossfire' on the back. I didn't recognise the badge. Does anyone know what make it was? It was a lovely car, oldish style looking, I thought.

Not quite the same, PP, Chrysler cars are built differently to Mercedes ( ie cheaper ) and mostly use different mechanics.

Another example, PP, the Chrysler 300 is built on the same floor pan as an E class Mercedes.

Chryysler owns Mercedes? I think Mercedes owned Chrysler; and it's now owned by Fiat.

Is Chyrrsler a new brand !, yes under Fiat control since 2009 ( things can only get worse ).

Chrysler, but it's based off an old Mercedes platform.

Clarkson said looking at the Crossfire he was reminded of the way a dog stands when it is trying to do a dump.

I can see what he meant and once you have that in your mind, the car isn't quite so attractive.
