Featured Poll

This has been bugging me for weeks! Is it any surprise that the highest number of votes in the latest featured poll (do you consider your pets when buying a car?) is for 'No' - because they don't have pets! What exactly is the point of that answer?

I don't have a pet but without that option I'd have chosen No- which may or may not have been helpful depending on what the data is wanted for.
But I also agree that polls like this are meaningless.
There was a recent Facebook poll about Fracking- are you for or against. The vast majority were against- but it was a leading question and the Against campaigners rallied the troops via Facebook whereas what was probably the silent majority may not even have been aware the poll existed or didn't feel strongly enough to bother
