Most will say flowers and a Mothers day card.

What didn't make my day was "let the old lady go first she only has 2 things."

Old. Old. is 63 old. Well I expect it is when you're 7 ish. I could have throttled the mum though. Upset me for the day, no it didn't I just wish people would put their brain in to action before the put their mouth in gear..

i dunno, last week a TV gave up her seat for me on the bus.

I didnt dare say no.

I sometimes ask - o god do I look that crap ? and frequently the answer is yes actually

I would describe 63 as 'late middle age'.

I went to visit my mum in her care home at the weekend. A new carer came in and said to mum ' Has your sister come to visit? ' my mum is almost 90 and I'm 63! To be fair mum has lovely skin and doesn't look her age - but I didn't think I did either!
