Thanks all.... Shouldn't really complain about Mr M he's put up with me all these years and he's still going out to work. As for the other one... I'm so disappointed, he was doing so well. I suspected he was drinking again because he's stopped eating.
hello, I just popped in for a minute. I know your family/friends give you advice re the boy. and I know your feelings/fear of asking him to leave . but do you think he knows no matter what he is safe/fed/watered/tolerated as long as you are there, will there be a time when enough is enough masma ? well done mr,m still working. 46 years geez oh :) x
Just can't do it Anne I'm too weak, it scares me to think that if he was in a bedsit alone he would die. He's worse this time than I've ever seen him, it's such a shame because the addiction help place he goes to had asked him to become a peer mentor, he's even been and done his first aid course.
i know you cant do it masma, and so does he. and its not weakness. no mater what he does he knows he will be safe, and so do you. who knows what others would do in your situation, I admire you very much. take care anne.
Arksided.. Mr M got me a card for our anniversary (we've never realy done anniversarys so I didn't expect owt more) Son got on his bike and went to Tesco, came back, cooked me pancakes with bacon and maple syrup and gave me card and presents - he's not all bad it's just the demon drink that spoils him.
well at least you got a brekkie, masma; the issue is what is going to be the shock that wakes him up. What do wider family and friends, support groups say to this? We can speculate but you know him far better than we ever can, and where his potential 'weaknesses' may lie.
