Recently our PC has really slowed down.. It takes ages for things to come up on the screen.. Can anyone help, or tell us what's the best thing is to do.. THANX

The most probably cause of the slowdown is malware. Try running a spyware scanner such as adaware to remove these things, and a virus scan couldn't hurt. Last of all, a disk defragmentation might speed things up. Click start->programs->accessories->system tools->disk defragmenter.

I agree with the spyware advice, click the link below and download Spybot, it's totally free by the way.

After it's downloaded click the check for problems panel, it should take a couple of minutes max.

personally I wouldn't say it's anything as sinister.

You could check the amount of Hard Disk memory you have, I won't get too technical but the computer can use some of your hard disk to run programs in, if there is limited RAM and close to no hard disk space this can cause a problem.
