i feel really fed up! I have had a good run of finishing the Jumbo (though with help on the reasons for an answer a few times!). This one is the last one that I am allowed to do before total concenytration on revision for the exams (Rule of She Who Must be Obeyed) and I hoped to end this run in a blaze of glory. Vanity, all is vanity as my best teacher often calls out. I still have about ten clues that I can't get and time is running out so I don't think I'll be able to finish. And I can't do the next one until the exams are over (early June). What a miserable way to end. But thanks to all who helped and guided me. Wish me luck until I can rejoin you

Good luck with the exams Steven. Tell SWMBO that you 'have' to have some down time from revision every day - and I'm being serious. Too much revision can dull the brain.

Thank you Captain2. It's only the crosswords that I am banned from. My swimming and dancing continue. But I shall miss the Jumbo! I have begged SWMBO to lift the ban but she refuses. And, as you can see, I am keeping a sneaky eye on what is happening but I shan't be able to hide doing the whole thing. if she finds out that I am doing this I'll be in Big Trouble!
