The cull has been abandoned possibly because of the recent discovery that cats can carry it too - and any suggestion of a cull there would cause widespread rioting from the pus$y-lovers.

I think the report says they will be continuing the cull in those originally designated pilot zones, and actually are removing some oversights from the cull, which is not to be welcomed, but they are not extending the cull as originally intended to other geographical areas.

Canary42...lots of creatures can carry TB, and one of the best carriers are people. But even Farmer Palmer might baulk at shooting ramblers instead of badgers :::
