Short Presentation On Time Capsule

Please help me to make a presentation about what objects, images or documents from today you would put in your time capsule to give people in the future an idea of what life was like for you in 2014. Short presentation (3-5 min). Thanks

a smartphone. A premiership footballer. A very small Hadron collider, perhaps.

Advise people to include things that make now special. Newspapers are always a favourite. Suggest thing which show prices of goods today so they can be compared in the future (eg. Argos catalogue).
Also suggest including Jobs Vacant and include current wages etc.

In most recent times, technology has changed extremely rapidly. I'd do a techie capsule and talk about the great apple and android divide, pop in an ipad and a smart phone ( money no object of course!). Also include a digi box, a wifi router and a digital camera. A memory stick with some pictures of the local area, oh, and a kindle. It'll all be so different in the future.

All good ideas Maydup, if similar tech still exists when the capsule is opened. If you put a 78rpm record in in 1954 not many could use it just 60 years later. Tech is moving so quickly, modern tech will soon be left behind.
