the kids are off school for easter break,which makes it too busy for me.I will have to go at 8pm,when its adults only.

And yet people moan that kids spend all their free time on a computer or slumped in front of a TV. How dare they exercise and have fun- the very cheek of it! ;-)

I agree with you whole heartedly,i always had my kids swimming,judo etc.but with my condition I keep jumping everytime a kid jumps in the water and a lifeguard even said school holidays isn't good for me.

i hate swimming when there are kids about, but even more than that i hate the women who swim really slowly up and down taking over 3 lanes yakking, that pees me off

so i go at 6.30am when the only people there stupid enough to be up, are there to swim only.

i really don't like people :-)

Once I went to the swimming pool with my children and they said we couldnt come in because it was swimming only. I said thats ok, we want to go swimming. She had to repeat 2 or 3 times it was swimming only, when I realised she was saying It's women only.......

Dundee schools are back on Monday, but Aberdeen schools have just come off. Bit of a bother as I have grandkids in both cities.

Don't all UK schools set their own holiday dates now?
Some school years are divided into six week semesters now rather than the traditional terms. I believe some schools have been off for two weeks already but will still have good Friday and Easter Monday off, whereas some will have the Easter weekend off, back to school on the Tuesday for the rest of the week, then off for two weeks the following Monday.
Must make it difficult to families to plan going away, although perhaps it will also make cheaper for some. Glad I'm all finished with all that...

Mine (Bucks) broke up on Friday until 23rd. We're going swimming tomorrow! But we use the leisure pool with the water slides :D
