Just had one of those amazing things happen. Earlier this afternoon my daughter gave me 20 quid she owed me and I shoved it in a pocket of my jeans. Just now took jeans off. No note in the pocket. Looked in front pockets, back pockets and even that little extra mini pocket at front that I have never put anything in. Nothing there. Then I looked in all pockets again. Went downstairs looked on sofa. Not there. Disbelieving searched all pockets one more time even going into the corners. Nothing.
Looked in bag. Not there. Said out loud. Come on St Anthony. What has happened to that 20 pound note?
Something made me go back to the jeans pocket and the first one at the front I looked in there it was. Not folded very small and right in the middle, not down in the corners.
Dont know what to say really. Stunned rather. Anything like this happened to you?

Great minds Jeza. Slack Alice - I have still not got over your royal birth prediction.

She showed up about 2 years later running a Hotel in Newquay,
That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

Of course she did Baldric. I believe you though thousands wouldn't.

Grass, it was sort of odd, my new GF, who almost 30 years later is now my OH and myself were in Newquay, booked into a Hotel, early evening (off season) following morning, checking out GF went down to pay the bill, I was lugging cases. When I got to the desk GF was talking happily with ex wife, who turned out to be the owner, it all got a bit strange then . . .

That it so bizarre Baldric that now I really do believe you.
after today, either I've lost my sense of humour/appreciation of others' foibles/constraints on violence or tomorrow St Anthony will have found my evil twin at last
