can i pull out of my current mobile phone contract i have about 8 month left to run on a 18 month contract the reason i have to do this is because ive lost my job

i would think if you ring and tell them you can't pay the monthly fee, they'll soon stop it!

that's not true - they will let the debt accrue then take you to court. Ring them, but its unlikely they'll let you out of it

Any communication with such companies(they are usually quite hard-nosed), should be in writing with copies, as phone calls are easily ignored/denied.
