Would Scottish independence have any noticable effect on the wider world? I think his Lordship may be over estimating Scotlands relevance.

It raises an interesting point, if Scotland did break away from the rest of the UK, would it have it's own Armed Forces?

Perhaps a bit OTT, however there are serious points about Independence, which many Scots should think hard over if considering giving a yes vote.
As to Scottish armed forces how would it work, considering we have had British armed forces for years, so do English servicemen and women leave Scottish regiments, vice versa for Scots in English, Welsh Irish regiments,
