We are taking grandchildren out for the day on Friday. We thought about Newbridgeplaybarn Play Barn and Farm Park near Ledbury. Has anyone been there and is it any good?

I haven't been but it's the perfect time to go - lots of lambs.

Or the Cotswold Farm Park (Adam for Countryfile) is 30 miles from Ledbury

Have been there, it was very good but a bit far out for us.
I've heard good things about Newbridge from people around here but don't go to Dick Whittington's (unless it has been hit by a bomb and rebuilt, terrible place for the money but so much potential).

Hi Sherr been there quite a few times, it is expensive but the children like it. I usually wait until they have a voucher in the paper for free adults entry. Also like Cattle Country but not paying £8.75 each.
Be sure to make certain that the grandchildren wash their hands in they touch any of the animals.
* if they touch ^
Having read the reviews, can I come too, Caran? I promise to wash my hands after touching the animals :D

Thanks for the trip advisor Chris, some really good reviews there. Looking forward to going. Will take a picnic too.
Sandy they are very good at hand washing, they don't get away with much with me.

Course you can hc. Setting off about 11.00 is that ok?
Mine are still at school or we might have joined you (lucky escape there).
