I would like to get rid of the lawn at the front of my house and quite like the coverage that looks like small Peebles or gravel on a roll
Any idea what it's called, how much and is it easy to install

Thanks in anticipation

Scrivens - not sure that will effect me as I don't think the area will be large enough
After searching the net - its resin drives I am looking at
Anyone any idea of the price per meter I would be likely to pay

Please don't get rid of the lawn because you'll just be contributing to flooding problems.
Hi Ric.ror, this is a good link for an explanation on resin gravel installation and what to watch out for when you are looking for a company to install it on your driveway:
http://www.pavingexpert.com/resin.htm

On another forum (pistonheads) there is a 2012 thread were a member paid £65 per sq/m to have a resin drive installed but it'll vary around that figure depending if you have a company nearby or not.

Just whatever you do, don't go for 'pebbles on a roll' option where the pebbles are pre-glued to a membrane roll - I've seen a driveway nearby that has had it done and it looks messy, the resin options are much, much nicer.
