thanks ummm, yea jenny what do you mean by that, seems really stupid of you to post that but nevermind.
yes i think i will start some short basic indian courses i know there is 1 runs in city centre tech though chinese ? i never heard of such a school , knowing the chinks they keep their business ideas very close to their chest.
the main thing i wanted to know was probably about a drinks licence too, i know this is an idea, one which i have had for a few years but as i say ive been in and out of work for so long but now i have no prospects of long term work so i want to embark on something like this and throw my savings into it. seems to me that everyone would want a simple buffet lunch or dinner with a pint or glass of wine, nothing too extravagant just simple nice cleanwell priced food and atmosphere.

Beez - sorry if I offended but I truly wanted to see if I had got my punctuation correct after ten years out of work. Not a bad bone in my body truly.
Anyway try the cookery course that is being run by Mourne Seafood - next door to Kellys off Chapel Lane near St Mary's chapel. They run cooking, baking and decorating classes monthly. I know it is not what you wanted but they could maybe lead you on the correct path re drink licence and foreign food. You will get information on the internet.
Also, cookery classes will be a lot cheaper via colleges etc. They will start in September. Good luck in this new venture. JJConnemara.
