Am looking to take my two away over the summer by myself for a couple of days in the UK. As I don' t have a car am looking for somewhere that they can be entertained on site (bearing in mind they are 8 and 10 going on 16). Can anyone with experience of either advise on best value in terms of self catering vs on site dining and inclusive activities vs additional extras bearing in mind their ages?
Haven seemed lovely, if a little out if my price range, Also same
issue, how practical is it to get around and feed the kids without a car? And is there anything for them to do onsite (not that they are particularly difficult to entertain)
Pontins was awful and the accommodation third class, I understand that Butlins has been brought up to date and the entertainment really good these days.
Hi Lulu
My daughter and son in law take our 7 year old grandson to Haven - most important thing is that he always enjoys it. He asks every year, "Are we going to Haven this year?" Says everything.
Have a great holiday !

Murray Mints, don't mind really, so long as it is possible to get to via public transport and we don't have to travel too far outside the site for any activities/entertainment. I am erring towards Butlins at the moment.
