Isn't Life Strange

22 years ago today I was in Leeds General Infirmary watching the birth of my daughter. This afternoon I will be in a Hospice watching my father battle cancer.

zac you must also take care of yourself...I didn't and know now I was silly...I put fil first at all times and had no time for me....as a result my own health went to pot !

I am doing Murray. Unfortunately we live 50 miles away and I've had a helluva week at work (incidentally I was in the granite city on Thursday) so it hasn't been easy. These things have a habit of 'bad timing' don't they.

My heart goes out to you, Zacs! You are indeed going through a very difficult time. Your father will be proud to have a child who cares and isn't frightened to face this ordeal head on with his dad. We had a great day with dad. A few laughs a few tears as predicted. They think he has too much calcium in his blood which is adding to his pain and disorientation so he's on a saline drip for 24hrs. Amazing place he's in and wonderful staff. Thanks again for the well wishes and comments. Your all wonderful.

Hypercalcemia will do that Zacs. It's common when cancer is in the bones. My mum had the same but was controlled with Zometa.
