Slideshow/portfolio Software

I am looking for some software that i can use to make a slideshow portfolio of photos that will play online but also so i can also burn it onto a disc and it will work on any DVD player or anyone elses computer - without them needing special software to play it

any ideas?

(i have a window 7 and a window 8 laptop)

Download Windows Movie Maker and create a video consisting of your images and a soundtrack. The resultant movie can then be uploaded to a video-hosting site (such as Youtube or DailyMotion) or added to your own website. You cam also burn a video DVD, so that the movie can be shown on any DVD player:

Seconded! You can pay a lot of money for video editing programs which often work very slowly and clunkily on your average computer or laptop. Movie Maker will do what you need and is free.

ah thanks! - seems i already have that on my windows 8 laptop - i didnt even think of it!
