Can someone suggest the best way to get to Shakespeares Globe by bus please? I would be getting off my bus from Oxford at either Marble Arch or Victoria. We hope to go sometime this week - not Easter weekend. Thanks a lot.

either:-
bus 148 from stop "R" and alight at st George's circus
bus 63 from stop "U" to Blackfriars station
10mn walk to the theatre

or
bus 23 from stop "L" and alight at St Paul's
15mn walk to theatre

or
bus 36 from Stop "R" and alight at Vauxhall
walk to St George Wharf
RiverBus to Bankside Pier
(bankside pier is 2mn from the theatre)
From Marble Arch, take a 148 from Stop R to St George's Circus. (About 35 mins). Then take a 45, 63 or 100 to Blackfriars Station. (About 11 mins). You can walk it fairly easily from there, simply by keeping the river on your left.

From Victoria Coach Station take a C10 from Stop V to St George's Circus. (About 32 mins). Then as above.
