Lovely pics SD, we are very fond of the Algarve. Have you been to Silves inland from the coast? The jacaranda trees in the square among the fountains are covered in beautiful blue blossom in late April/May.

Wow, those bridges look SOOOO much like Tavira ... where there are also quite a lot of nesting storks.

very nice dave ...I used to have a villa at martinhall between lagos and sagres...before it got too busy and commercialised...Portugal rather spoilt now unless you go up into mountains ..Monchique still nice...

Lagos & Tavira are lovely - well out of season. Monchique anx Mertola are much less commercial and great places for walking and birds - incredibly friendly people too.
