Driveway Rubbish Dumping
8 Answers
This morning I went to get my car. Their were macdonalds containers stuffed in the hedge. Part eaten burgers thrown next to the door that I nearly trod in. Drinks cups on the ground. Checken nuggets next to them. I`ve had so far 4 razors thrown into the garden. I have dogs and one could easily have cut their paws on then as they had no cover over the blades. One time even a used condom. Every time they have a party they throw glasses into the garden. Of course it`s never them. I`ve had this since I moved there. Nobody wants to know. I`ve had enough.I need a remote cctv camera that wont need a separate power supply. I cant afford a state of the art system. I cant afford anything expensive. I need to get it on film then I can prove who it is.

Complain to the nearest McDonalds, if the detritus belongs to them. I often see McDonalds staff out collecting rubbish near their outlets.

I also do not have the experience you require but can empathise with the fly tipping/littering/dumping issue. One had a load of dug up tar dumped behind my back gate. Funnily enough just down the road a household were extending all over including replacing the pavement in front and adding the dropped kerb. Not that it was them of course. I had to get help and make umpteen trips to the dump myself. I could tell you exactly how I felt at the time and how depressing it all was but I suspect the post would be deleted.
What I can say is if you can not afford a lot, which presumably rules out a professional fitting, then DIY and something from, say, Maplins, might be an option for you ? It's where I'd start looking.

Have you talked to your environmental health section at the council? Try that first of all. Do any other neighbours get grief from the same source? If so see if you can all act jointly with the council. You might also have a chat with the community police and ask for advice as you feel vulnerable and targeted.
