Has anyone else noticed there is a shortage of toothpaste in pumps (except the whitening ones)? None in Tesco, Morrisons, Asda or Home Bargains!

Also, why I am on the subject, why pay huge prices for expensive named toothpaste ? Buy supermarkets own-brand....it does the job just as well as the ones 3 and 4 times the cost. Its the brush that does the work, not the bl**dy toothpaste !
Saw an interesting story from The States about economy and efficiency. Instead of buying expensive tooth-whitening toothpaste buy two different common brands. As they have differing ingredients they combat different chemical problems and more effectively whiten if used one after the other in the same session...
I have an excellent toothbrush Mikey: a Phillips Sonicare which is probably the BEST toothbrush available, but I still like to use toothpaste! I'm pleased to know that there isn't a shortage. I'll try our bargain shops today. I have noticed that our Tesco (a huge Tesco Extra) is not as well stocked as it used to be. Sign of the times perhaps.
