Quetta earthquake, May 1936.
My dad was injured in the earthquake while serving in Northern India as a gunner in the Royal Artillery.
Would he have received a medal for this service?
He also served in WWII from 1939 to 1946, but I don't remember ever seeing any medals. I think there was a mention or something about a "Star of France" or "Germany Star", but I was only a kid when he was demobbed and I can't remember the stories he told.
Thanks.

I'm waiting for information from the MoD Medal Office but there's a delay due to the 60th aniversary of D-Day and a big backlog of medal enquiries. I just thought I might get info on here quicker.
My dad would have been 99 years old now. I know he must have helped save lives in Quetta, even though he was injured in the knee. He died in 1969.
I'll definately get in touch with BL...thanks again.
