I have recently purchased a Galaxy S3 phone, it is on Virgin Mobile, a few days ago I began getting text messages from a company called Mobjizz, they are porn and I have never asked for them & don't want them. When they come in they just have the heading "Free Msg" and they never display where they come from but they do say "Help/Stop: 03306601082" which I assume is a top end premium rate line, can anybody advise me on how to stop this filth?

Text spam is getting more common. Unsure if it can be stopped. I just delete and trust it cost them a bit to send. You could contact your service provider, but I don't know if they have filtering ability. Beside the spammers would just change their calling number and carry on. It must be difficult to distinguish a legitimate mass texting from an annoying one. The provider gets the texts and would be obliged to deliver I would think, under normal circumstances.
Contact Virgin Mobile and they will block the number.
I think you will find an option to reject the calls on your phone under the 'Call' settings options.

I know that on o2 you can forward the unwanted message to 7726 which is SPAM on a numeric keypad. I would assume that Virgin would have something similar in place

I've been getting constant spam and unsolicited cr/\p ever since I made the MISTAKE of signing up to 3. As soon as the contract ends, I shall delight in telling them where to stick their useless service and their non-existent customer care attitude.

Mobjizz Support
Hi
I have had the same message on my S4, you can block unwanted messages by opening up your text messages, then settings, scroll down to 'spam' then add numbers.
Hope this helps the both of us, I have just done this and found this thread by searching
