Chill - what disappeared, the wart or your thumb?
LOL, very droll wolf, very droll......
I'll see if I can buy some zinc oxide in Boots tomorrow and give it a try. It doesn't sound anywhere near as painful as the other options.
Chill - I'm Scottish, we have a 'droll' gene.

Sandy, as you are around. Mr Tilly had his wart zapped, yesterday, at the doctor's surgery.
Apparently, it will now blister and fall off.
We shall see.
I froze my wart off myself with a kit from the chemist.

I did have to modify the kit a little though, after about 4 attempts the wart didnt go so I got a biro, and took the end off and the refill out leaving me with an empty tube. I positioned the hole of the tube over the wart and then emptied the contents of the freezer liquid into the tube, naturally keeping the tube vertical, it hurt like a bitch few a few seconds then I could see the wart and surrounding area turn white, I left it on there for about a minute. It worked a treat, the wart fell off a few days later and didnt come back.

I know my method was rather irresponsible and maybe a little dangerous but it worked, I would never suggest anybody else trying it but it worked for me!!
