We both received by post this am an envelope with a sticker with our names and address sealed by sellotape and inside each of them was a £1 coin . No name of sender or anything else . Postmark just said Royal Mail. It is a mystery , Has anyone else had this . I am not complaining but who would send it.
I haven't. I know some charities used to send small coins but that was always clearly marked where it came from. How odd. Was it a printed address label, or hand written?
You're not from Colchester are you? I saw something in the news a couple of weeks ago about lots of people in Colchester getting samll amounts of money posted to them and no-one knows where it's from.
There was a news item earlier about a chap who was doing "random acts of kindness" instead of that stupid necknominate drinking game. It could be somebody similar, although the idea of that is to film yourself doing the kind acts.
