For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.like they both have said it sounds like a poor earth. another way to fix it is if you have a panel that all the bulbs go into check the metal strips that go from the wires to the bulbs they might have corroded, you can sometimes clean them but if not just get one from a scrap yard and test it before you but it.
not 2 sure if your car has a setup like this but worth a try
took the cluster off and found that it was wired using spade connectors and someone had already wired a new earth in i tryed wrapping electrical tape around the spade connecters to stop them touching together has done the job and lights are working now will get a new connector box in next few days thanks for advice now just got to fix the brakes as the have started to rub when driving and are making the disks get hot.
