I have just changed my computer and I am having trouble connecting the above printer to it I put new cartridges in it and I get a message saying one of the cartridge's is missing. when I try to clean the cartridge's I get a message saying the door is open.Can anybody help please

This printer doesn't seem to be listed on the HP web site??
If the cartridges are the usual Black and tri-colour cartridges then try cleaning the gold contacts on the back of the cartridges with a small artists brush and methylated spirits. Also clean the contacts in the printer if you can reach them but TURN OFF THE PRINTER before doing this. Allow Meths to dry before replacing cartridges.
Grease on the contacts from the fingers can cause recognition problems.

Are you trying to operate the printer on a radio link ?. I think that initially you should set-up the printer to the computer with a usb lead and follow all instructions from the printer's installation disc.

Is the Computer a newly bought item and loaded with Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 ?
Furthermore is the printer one which you used on a previous computer ?.

The question stated the printer to be H.P. 2150 which is what I searched for, not 2510.
I just assumed that the author would know which printer they had.
Apparently I was wrong in my assumption!

What I find strange is that, according to AB stats, myrmidon37 has Not looked
into Answerbank from the time of posting his question about the deskjet.
