Buying a long black coat
4 Answers
I know this is very sad, but in countless movies the characters sport cool long black coats. However, it is impossible to find such items in the shops - all I can find is your standard 'macintosh' or 'crombie' style coat, which lack the essential 'flappy' back. I can find cowboy style 'dusters' online, which are a bit OTT, so does anyone know anywhere where you can buy such items (preferably in the South of England), or has anybody ordered the 'Neo' style coats from http://www.abbyshot.com/
or http://www.baronboutique.com/movie_replica.htm
who can advise if they're worth the money?

Sorry for the late ratings, folks, have been away from the house. Should've said "not leather" as I feel that one has to have a certain physique and/or gravitas to pull it off, otherwise, one will indeed look like "Herr Flick". Alas, I don't think I could pull it off. holmesgirl - thanks for the sites, which look pretty good.
