4dn Setting in a key of G at the end of nothing to be boosted. I have ISLI-G. Perhaps something else is wrong, but I cannot see how

I have ISLING.

Put G at end of LIN (nothing, nil, boosted. I think I found it in Chambers last Sunday.
Incidentally a "key" is an island, as in Florida Keys.
Final thought - so, "setting in a key" would be "isling", i.e. putting in an isle.
Very final thought - "Is." is abbreviation for "Island", i.e. "key".

many thanks frugalfred ... I see it all now; never thought of isling as a verb, but then enisling is!
